For Kids

Both our Wee Worship ministry (for toddlers and children up to four years old) and our Cavanaugh Kid's Territory (for children age four through sixth grade) present an easy-to-understand message in a fun, kid-friendly environment. Children’s services are available during all regular worship services.

Security For Your Child

At Cavanaugh Church, the safety of our children is a top priority. We provide a secure check-in system with KidCheck. This system helps ensure that your children are only picked up by you or someone you authorize.

How KidCheck works:

• When you arrive at the church, you will use one of our self check-in stations to print off name tags for your children and a corresponding guardian tag.

• Our volunteers will meet you at our secure drop-off station to ensure that your children have the proper name tags and escort them to their classrooms.

• After service, you will present your guardian tag to a pickup volunteer who will confirm that your tag matches the tags your children are wearing before they leave with you.

A Note from our Wee Worship Directors

Here at Cavanaugh, we strive to offer a great ministry for all ages. This does not exclude even the tiniest person! Our Wee Worship ministry focuses on ages infant to 3 years old. We believe that the future of our church begins in our Wee Worship ministry. We want kids to know at a very young age what the love of Christ looks like so they can then turn around and love other people in the same unconditional way as they grow older.

During all of our weekly services, we offer classes for 0–1 year old, 1-2 years old, and 2-3 years old. All of our volunteers are vetted by our staff and have a heart for children and a desire to show them the love of Christ. Our Wee Worship rooms are monitored throughout each service by volunteers at our KidCheck station located outside of our Wee Worship area. At this desk, you will find a monitor that displays a live video feed of each room so that you can have peace of mind knowing that your child is being looked after and loved on. These volunteers will be at the KidCheck desk throughout the entire duration of each service. We want our parents and guardians to know that their child is safe so that they can focus completely on their own worship time.

We know that your kids are your top priority. It is our goal every week to offer a safe place they can spend time in getting to know other children and learning about Jesus and His love for them. Please contact the church if you have any questions regarding our Wee Worship ministry.
